Essilor ® Stellest ® lenses - myopia management for children
Introducing the first and only FDA market authorized spectacle lens for slowing down myopia progression on average by 71% over two years compared to single vision lenses in clinical trials for age 6-12 years at initiation of treatment. Stellest lens is composed of two parts: a single vision zone to provide sharp vision and a zone of over 1000 lenslets utilizing H.A.L.T. lenslets technology that creates a volume of myopic defocus in front of the retina as a signal to slow myopia progression.
