McKinney Eyeworks is the optometric practice of Dr. Marc Woerz, who has been serving McKinney and the surrounding area since 1995. At McKinney Eyeworks, we are committed to improving the quality of our patient’s lives by fulfilling their visual needs and safeguarding the health of their eyes.

Wenting Wang OD

Dr. Wang joined McKinney Eyeworks in 2016. Her education started at The University of Texas at Austin where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Rosenberg School of Optometry at The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. She is a licensed and board-certified therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Wang is committed to providing quality eye care including comprehensive eye exams, fitting of contact lenses, LASIK co-management, diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases using state of the art technology. Dr Wang was born in Hunan, China and moved to Dallas, Texas in 2001. She is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese. During her free time, Dr. Wang enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing ping pong with her family.

Melissa Mcclain

Melissa Mcclain, our Office Manager, has been with McKinney Eyeworks since 2000. She works side by side with Dr. Woerz and Dr. Wang to make sure that our office runs efficiently; she is knowledgeable in all aspects of the office. She can help you make an appointment, do preliminary testing, and help you with your eyewear needs. She also works with insurance billing and explanation of benefits. With her vast experience, she can help to answer any question or concerns that you may have. Melissa lives in Farmersville with her husband Tony and 3 children. Jacob, her oldest son is attending University Of North Texas pursuing a degree in Engineering. Justin enjoys playing and designing video games. Jenna has been dancing since she was 3 involved in ballet, tap, jazz, and tumbling. In Melissa’s spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her extended family. On the weekends you will find her working in the yard or working on craft projects.
