Mckinney Eyeworks was established in 1995 and has been proudly serving Mckinney and the surrounding north Dallas area. Dr. Wenting Wang joined Mckinney Eyeworks in 2016 and has been continuing care for our patients here since the passing of Dr. Marc Woerz in 2020.
Our doctor and staff are dedicated to pursuing the highest standards of care through on-going continuing education and utilizing state-of-the art equipment to ensure patients are receiving the most comprehensive eye care they deserve. We are dedicated to offer a full range of optometry services to meet your family’s needs and we focus on patient education for preventative care.

Wenting Wang OD
Dr. Wang joined McKinney Eyeworks in 2016. Her education started at The University of Texas at Austin where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Rosenberg School of Optometry at The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. She is a licensed and board-certified therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Wang is committed to providing quality eye care including comprehensive eye exams, fitting of contact lenses, LASIK co-management, diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases using state of the art technology. Dr Wang was born in Hunan, China and moved to Dallas, Texas in 2001. She is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese. During her free time, Dr. Wang enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing ping pong with her family.
Melissa Mcclain
Melissa MeClain has been an integral part of the McKinney Eyeworks family since 2000. As our Office Manager, she works closely with Dr. Wang to ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Thanks to her decades of experience, Melissa is highly knowledgeable in every aspect of our practice. Whether you need assistance scheduling an appointment, completing preliminary testing, selecting the perfect eyewear, or navigating insurance billing and benefits, she is always ready to help.. Melissa lives in Farmersville where she balances a fulfilling family life with her husband. She has three children, a daughter in-law and two grandchildren. Outside of her professional dedication, she loves to travel, cook and enjoys spending time on her little farm.
